Janet G. Marberger

   Janet G. Marberger, 80 of Pottsville died Wednesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Cedar Crest, Allentown.

  She was born May 3, 1937 in Pottsville daughter of late Robert W. and Lucy Auer Gerhard.

  She was a graduate of the former Soliders Memorial High School, Port Carbon and Ford School of Business, Pottsville.

  She was employed by the former Argo Mills, Schuylkill Haven prior to retiring.

  Janet was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville, where she took part in Circle 5, Craft Class and Trinity Senior Travelers. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Lodge #367 Cressona, where she was past Matron and a current officer.

  She was preceded in death by her husband David Marberger in 1999. Surviving are her sister, Nancy Berger and her husband Carl, Pottsville; Cousins.

  Services will be held Monday at 11A.M. from Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville with Rev. Chris Rothharpt and Rev. Harold L. Hand, Jr., officiating. Family and Friends are invited to call from 10-11A.M. with an Order of the Eastern Star service at 10:45A.M. Monday at church. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 300 W. Arch St. Pottsville PA, 17901. Interment will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.

   Arrangements are under the care of James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville.
