Joseph Silcox, Jr., 78 of Pottsville, died Thursday morning at ManorCare Health Services, Pottsville. He was born August 10, 1938 in Philadelphia son of the late, Joseph and Edna Dixon Silcox. He was an Army veteran. Surviving are his sister, Sharon Trimble, Parksburg: many nieces and nephews. Service and interment will be private. James E.
