Nancy E. Harris

    Nancy E. Harris, 70, Pottsville passed away peacefully Monday evening at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill East Norwegian St.   She was born December 31, 1945 daughter of the late John and Bessie Achenbach.   She was a 1964 graduate of Pottsville High School and was employed by General Polymeric Corp.   Nancy was a member of First Baptist Church, Pottsville.   Nancy loved all animal life and was especially dedicated to caring for all the pets in her life for the past 50 years.   She was preceded in by 2 half-brothers, Frank and William Miller. Surviving are her husband with whom she would have celebrated 50 years of marriage of July 15, 2017 Dennis J. Harris; 2 sons, John and Eric: 6 grandchildren, Bryna, Cristen, Kyle, Alyssa, Zachery and Matthew; a half-sister, June Reedy: 3 nieces, Debbie, Melanie and Sherry.   Family and friends respectfully invited to attend a service of remembrance for Nancy on Friday at 5P.M. from James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville. A visitation with family will be from 3P.M. until the time of services. The family would prefer remembrance in the form of contributions made to Hillside SPCA P.O.
