Kenneth E. Youst, Sr., 95 of Pottsville died Friday at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville. He was born October 11, 1921 in Pottsville son of the late Oliver and Florence Degler. He was a graduate of Pottsville High School and attended the former Pierce Business School. He was employed by American Window Cleaning prior to retiring. Kenneth was an Army Air Corp during World War II and flew 18 missions over Germany during the war. He was also POW for 1 year prior to being liberated by Allied forces. Kenneth was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville, and was a life member of the former Greenwood Hill Fire Co. Pottsville. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Youst; a brother Keith Youst. Surviving are 5 children, Kenneth Youst Jr., Pottstown; Karen Youst, Philadelphia; Glenn Youst, Schuylkill Haven; Keith Youst, Pottsville; and Kurt Youst, Hazelton: 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. Graveside service with military honors will be held 11:30 A.M. Tuesday at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Procession to the cemetery will gather at the James E.
