Doris Mushock

  Doris Mushock, 77 of Pottsville, died Friday afternoon at home after a 6 year courageous battle with cancer.   She was July 10, 1938 in Pottsville daughter of the late Carl and Catherine Shaffer Richter.   She was a graduate of Nativity BVM High School and was employed by the former Pomeroy’s Department Store.     She was preceded in death by her husband former Pottsville Police Chief John Mushock, Jr. in 2005. Surviving is a son, John Mushock, Pottsville and cousins.   Services and interment will be private at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions made to the American Cancer Society, 101 W. Frack St. Frackville PA, 17931.   James E.
