Majorie L. Gerber

  Marjorie L. Gerber, 88 of Pottsville died Wednesday afternoon at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.   She was born August 26, 1927 in Pottsville daughter of the late Ralph and Helen Koenig Leuchtner.   She was a graduate of Pottsville High School and was later employed by the Academic Center of the Pottsville Area School District prior to retiring.   She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Gerber, June 4, 1997; a sister Betty Jane Howat. Surviving are a brother, R. Edward Leuchtner, Jr., Milford, CT: nieces & nephews, Leslie H. Adams, Dr. Robert E. Leuchtner, R. Edward Leuchtner, III; James C. Howat, Jr.; Thomas G. Leuchtener; great nieces and nephews, Jack E. Leuchtner, Grant T. Leuchtner, Sarah K. Leuchtner, Sophia M. Leuchtner, Gregory M. Adams, Christopher J. Adams: step children, Loralene Gerber, Lynda G. Pierce: step grandchildren, Kyle Firestone, Kami L. Firestone, Harrison I. Pierce, and Savanna L Pierce.   Services will be held Saturday at 11A.M. from Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville, with the Rev. Harold L. Hand, Jr. officiating. Family and friends are invited to call from 10:30A.M. until the time of services. Interment will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 300 W. Arch St., Pottsville PA, 17901.   James E.
