Frank R. Schwartz

  Frank R. Schwartz, 84, of Pottsville died Monday at the Outpatient Hospice of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.   He was born March 20, 1931 in Pottsville son of the late William Schwartz and Laura Otterbien.   He attended Pottsville High School and worked for Ace Storm Window Co. and was owner of Schwartz and Sons Contracting prior to retiring.   Frank was a member of West End Hose Co., Pottsville and Mt. Carbon Fire Co., Pottsville, the former Christ Evangelical Congregational Church, Pottsville.   He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Jean Miller Schwartz on January 3, 2015; a son Steven Schwartz; a brother, William Laundry; and a sister, Shirley Deiter: Surviving are 2 sons, Joe Schwartz and his wife Elaine, Pottsville; Gary Schwartz and his wife Tracey, Pottsville: 2 daughters, Colleen Adams and her husband Robert, Fairplay, MD; Jean Ann Schwartz, Pottsville: a brother, Joe Laundry, LA: 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews:    Service of Remembrance for Frank and his wife Betty Jean will be held 11A.M. Saturday March 19th at James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville, with the Rev. Chris Rothharpt officiating. Family and friends are invited to call from 10A.M. until the time of services.
