Gloria W. Ridge

Gloria W. Ridge, 72 of Pottsville, died Tuesday at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey. She was born January 25, 1943 daughter of the late Frank and Gladys Steiner Wenner. She was a 1960 graduate of Pottsville High School and a 1991 graduate of Mundelein College, Chicago, Ill. She worked for various banks and was most recently employed at Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson St. as a switchboard operator. Gloria was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville. Throughout her life Gloria enjoyed traveling vacationing at the beach and loved to read. Surviving are a son Jeff Ridge, Pottsville; 2 daughters, Catherine Ridge Rosenberger, Wyomissing; and Connie Ridge Hair, Pottsville: 5 grandchildren, Lauren Rubright, Pottsville; Dylan and Wesley Rosenberger, Wyomissing; Nick and Danny Hair, Pottsville: 1 great-grandchild Justin Rubright; and her cat Molly. Service of Remembrance will be held 6:00 P.M. Friday at James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville, with Rev. Harold L. Hand, Jr. officiating. Family and friends are invited to call from 5:00P.M. until the time of services. Interment will be private at Charles Baber Cemetery, Pottsville.
