Jeanette H. "Nina" Rivas

Jeanette H. "Nina" Rivas, 58 of Pottsville died Sunday at home. She was born October 27,1958 in Pottsville daughter of the late James G. Sr., and Marion Kline Doyle. She attended Pottsville Area High School and was employed by Schuylkill Center, Pottsville, prior to retiring. Jeanette was a member of Evangelical United Methodist Church, Pottsville, and the Humane Hose Co. Ladies Auxiliary, Pottsville. She was preceded in death by a brother, John F. Doyle and a sister, Bonnie Doyle. Surviving are her husband Marcial Rivas, Pottsville; a daughter, Bridgette Steffie and her companion Christopher Tobias, Pottsville: 4 grandchildren, Tahlea Estep, Ty Steffie, Zakry Kane, Zavion Steffie: 2 sisters, Gail A. Neiswender, Palo Alto; Deborah A. McCready and her husband Jim, Palo Alto: a brother, James G. Doyle, Jr., Pottsville: nieces and nephews. A Service of Remembrance will be held Saturday at 11:00 A.M. from James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville, with Pastor Kristopher Perry officiating. Family and friends are invited to call from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions made to M&T Bank 1 S. Centre St., Pottsville PA 17901, for a memorial fund to be set up for Jeanette's grandchildren.
