Catherine June Klema

Catherine June Klema, 83, of Pottsville died Monday at Orwigsburg Center, Orwigsburg. She was born March 1, 1932 in Pottsville daughter of the late John J. Jr., and Anna Marrah McGovern. She was a graduate of Pottsville Catholic High School and was employed by the former Grants 5 and Dime. June was member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville and a former member of Mary Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis R. Klema in 1982; and a son, John Klema. Surviving are 2 daughters, Anne Dudish and Rita Sponenberg; a son, Gerard Klema all of Pottsville: a brother, Jack McGovern, Palo Alto; 2 sisters Martha Jane Bobinis and Clare Alfonsi both of Pottsville: 6 grandchildren, Amanda Dudish-Black, Drew Dudish, Rebecca Sponenberg, Hannah Sponenberg, Kathryn Klema; and expecting twin great-grandson and great-granddaughter: Nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11:00 A.M. from St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville. Family and friends are invited to a visitation Friday evening from 6:00P.M.-8:00P.M. at James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville, and from 9:30 A.M.-10:30 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions made to Holy Family Assisted Living, 900 W. Market St. Orwigsburg, PA 17961 or Luther Ridge Assisted Living 160 Red Horse Rd.
