Henry J. Bigg, Jr., 70 of Pottsville, died Friday night at home after a long battle with cancer surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 21, 1944 in Pottsville son of the late Henry J. Sr., and Elosie Kishbaugh Bigg. He attended Pottsville Schools and was employed by Metals Engineering, Reading and Treadway Inn, prior to retiring. He was a Navy veteran having served during the Vietnam War where he attained the rank of Seaman 3rd Class. Henry was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Pottsville, West End Hose Company No. 7, Pottsville and Stanley Dengler American Legion Post #286 Cressona. He was preceded in death by a brother, William Bigg and a sister, Geraldine Salen. Surviving are his wife the former Carol Daubert with whom he would have celebrated 50 years of marriage with on August 21. 2 daughters, Lisa Viduszynski and her husband Alan, Pottsville; Lori Bendetti and her companion Mark Scribbick, Pottsville: a brother, Richard Bigg; 2 sisters, Mildred Harig and Thelma MacCready: 6 grandchildren, Larry Reedy, III, Douglas Bendetti, Jr., Brittany Bendetti, Brandon Bendetti, Max and Mattie Viduszynski: 1 great-granddaughter, Jordan Reedy; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Service of Remembrance with military honors will be held Friday at 10:00 A.M. from Trinity Episcopal Church, Pottsville, with the Rev. James Rinehart officiating. Family and friends are invited to call from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services at the church. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions be made to Santander Bank C/O Lisa Viduszynski, 120 S.
