Joanne C. Dudick

Joanne C. Dudick, 75 of Pottsville, PA passed suddenly on Tuesday. She was Born on August 31, 1939 daughter of the late James and Rita Keating Curry. Joanne grew up in Pottsville and graduated from Nativity B.V.M in 1957. She worked at the Pottsville Library, Pennsylvania National Bank and most recently the United Credit Bureau. Joanne enjoyed the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, 57 High School Reunion Committee, her friends, summer vacations to Sea Isle City and most of all was devoted to her family all of her life and will be greatly missed. Joanne was a wonderful storyteller and always had a smile for everyone she came in contact with. In addition to her parents, Joanne was preceded in death by her husband John in 2004 after being married for 42 years. Surviving are children Michael (Charlotte, NC) along with his wife Molly and Mark (New Hope, PA) along with his wife Alison. She had four grandchildren: Sumner, Julia, Ella and Bryce. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am Monday at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday evening James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville and Monday from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 AM. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
