CPO James E. Wyld, U.S. Navy (Ret), 75, of Pottsville died Monday at Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian St. He was born March 31, 1939 in Pottsville son of the late Harry and Catherine Zieler Wyld. He attended Blythe Twp Schools and Pottsville High School. Jim served in the Navy as an electrician during the Vietnam War and remained active in the Navy until retiring at the rank of Chief Petty Officer. Prior to retiring, he was manager of the Bowling Alley at Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville. Surviving are his wife the former Suzanne Dando; 2 aunts, Joan Harkins, New Philadelphia; Dolores Sabisky, Norfolk VA: an uncle William Wyld and his wife Crystal Hummelstown; caregivers, Diane and Les Newman, New Philadelphia: Cousins. Services with military honors will be held Friday at 11:00 A.M. at James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville, with the Pastor Bradley A. Schutt officiating. Family and friends are invited to call from 9:30 A.M. until the time of services. Interment will be private at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Pottsville.
