Helen M. Hostetter Daubert, 94 of Pottsville, died Saturday afternoon at Schuylkill Center. She was born August 23, 1920 in Pottsville daughter of the late Bert and Emma Snyder Evans. She was a 1938 graduate of Pottsville High School. Helen was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville, where she taught Sunday School, Past President of the former Race St. School PTA, and was a former Girl Scout Leader in Port Carbon. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry C. Hostetter, on January 26, 1988; a son, Harry E. Hostetter; 1995 a stepson, Edward Daubert, killed in action during the Vietnam War in 1968; a brother, Albert Evans. Surviving are her husband, Calvin Daubert, Pottsville: 2 sons, Richard Hostetter and his wife Carol, Reading; Robert Hostetter, and his wife Rosemary, Pottsville: 2 step sons, Daniel Daubert, Melbourne, Fl; Calvin Daubert, Pottsville: a sister, Grace Evans, St. Petersburg, Fl: 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 2 nephews and a niece. Services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. from James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville, with Vicar Chris Rothharpt officiating. Family and friends are invited to call from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services at the funeral home. The family would prefer remembrances in the form contributions made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 300 W. Arch St. Pottsville, PA 17901. Interment will be private at Odd Fellows Cemetery.
