Joyce Ann Miller

Joyce Ann Miller, 61, of St. Clair, died Thursday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. She was born October 21, 1952 in Ashland daughter of Mary Lou Ward Lesher and the late Robert Lesher. She attended Tri-Valley High School and worked along side her husband at Crown Dental Laboratory, St. Clair. In addition to her father she was preceded in by a son, Joshua Miller. Surviving are her husband, Robert Miller, with whom she celebrated 35 years of marriage.; a son, Randy Robert Lesher and his wife Nicole, Orwigsburg; a daughter, Mary Richter and her husband, Jason, Palo Alto: a brother, Robert Lesher and his wife, Karen, Grantville; a sister, Cathy Sellard, and her husband Curt, Lancaster: 5 grandchildren: nieces and nephews, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Joyce was a fun person, from biting the dog's toes, to teaching her hamsters how to swim, to posing with a rabid groundhog. She knew how to have fun, so celebrate her life and times even though it was cut too short. She loved spending many good times with her husband, Bob traveling the USA to one of her favorite haunts, the Coast of Maine. Joyce also enjoyed crafts and was skilled at painting, basket weaving, soap making, and numerous other artistic endeavors. Her time lately was spent surfing the internet, playing with her dog, reading, and watching movies. She will be missed dearly. Services Celebrating Joyce's life will be held Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. at the James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville, with the Rev. Edward B. Connolly officiating. Family and friends are invited to call from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services at the funeral home. The family would prefer remembrances in form of contributions be made to a charity of your choice. Interment will be private.
