David John Guzick

David John Guzick, 24, of Pottsville, died Tuesday at University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia as a result of a motorcycle accident on Saturday, March 9th. He was born November 22, 1988 in Pottsville son of Jack and Mary Catherine Lynch Guzick, Pottsville. He was a 2007 graduate of Pottsville Area High School and a 2011 graduate of Weidner University School of Engineering. He was employed by McTish, Kunkel & Associates, Allentown. David was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville. In addition to his parents he is survived by his paternal grandmother, Betzy Guzick, Pottsville: Jim Guzick and his wife Lori, Pottsville: Chuck Lynch, Las Vegas, NV: Debi Cody and her husband, George, Pottsville: Samantha Cody, Pottsville: Peggy Jeager and her husband, Ralph, Pottsville;. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 A.M. at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville, with Monsignor Edward J. O'Connor as celebrant. Family and friends are invited to call from 9:00 A.M. until the time of Mass. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. The family would prefer remembrances in form of contributions made to Widener University Engineering 150th Anniversary Endowed Scholarship, Development Office Widener University, 1 University Place, Chester PA 19013.
