Debra L. Cody

Debra L. "Debi" Cody, 52 of Pottsville, died Sunday evening at home. She was born August 28, 1960 in Pottsville, daughter of George W. Cody, Sr. and the late Grace Williams Cody. She was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School, and was last employed by Littman's Jewelers. She was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church, Pottsville. Debi is survived by her daughter, Megan Whitecavage, St. Clair; two sons, Jesse and Nick Whitecavage, both of Pottsville; two brothers, George W. Cody, Jr. and his wife Debbie, and William "B.J." Cody, all of Pottsville: a niece, Samantha Cody and a nephew, Bill Cody. In keeping with Debi's wishes, there will be no services. The family would prefer remembrances in form of contributions made to Hillside S.P.C.A., P.O. Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901 or ALS Association Development Department, 27001 Agoura Road, Suite 250, Calabasas Hills, CA 91301. James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville, is in charge of arrangements.
