Doris L. Moffett

Doris L. Moffett, 81, of Pottsville, died Monday morning at ManorCare Health Services, Pottsville. She was born December 28, 1931 in Pottsville daughter of the late Herman and Francis Skeen Yeager. She was a graduate of Pottsville High School and was employed as a secretary for Agency International Development prior to retiring. Doris was a member of the former Christ Evangelical Congregational Church, Pottsville. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles A. "Chuck" Moffett on August 22, 2008: a brother, Robert Yeager: a sister, Betty Dunkel: Surviving are 2 daughters, Cindy Cerullo and her husband Anthony "Skip" and Sandy Tassone and her husband Don, all of Pottsville: 6 grandchildren, Amy, Jill, Brian, Tammy, Tiffany, and Tara: 10 great-grandchildren, Lauren, Anthony, Matthew, Roman, Mia, Dominic, Olivia, Juliana, Francesca, and Emma. Nieces and Nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday at 4:00 P.M. from the James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville, with the Rev. Peggy Sue Pfeffer officiating. Family and friends are invited to call from 2:00 P.M. until the time of services. Interment will be at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
