Cecil A. Beadle, 89, of Pottsville died peacefully Sunday evening at Schuylkill Medical Center, South Jackson St. with his family by his side. He was born February 6, 1923 in Wadesville son of the late John F. Sr. and Preditta Haslam Beadle. He was a 1941 graduate of St. Clair High School. He was a medic with the Army's 4th Armored Division, serving in Europe from 1943 to 1946. He spent most of his life in the automobile business selling new and used vehicles. Cecil was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Pottsville, where he served as President of the Consistory from 1993 to 2003, and Pulaski Masonic Lodge No. 216, F&AM, Pottsville. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, John F., Jr. and Thomas C. Surviving are his wife with whom he celebrated 65 years of marriage on April 26, the former, Jeanette Accardi; a daughter Janet Terefencko, and her husband Ed, Pottsville; two sons, Frank, Pottsville and Geoffrey, and his wife Jennifer Peters, Erie: a brother Elwyn, St. Clair: 6 grandchildren, Ed and Marla Terefencko, Daryle, Frank, Alex, and Gabriel Beadle. 6 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday from the James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville, with Pastor James R. Fidler officiating. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. Thursday evening and from 10:00 A.M. until the time service on Friday. The family would prefer remembrances in form of contributions made to Trinity United Church of Christ, 316 West Market Street, Pottsville, PA 17901. Interment with military honors will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery, St. Clair.
