William E. Hawk

William E. Hawk, 79, of Pottsville, died Sunday morning at Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson St. He was born March 29, 1933 in Pottsville son of the late Harry H. and Florence Lawless Hawk. He was a graduate of Pottsville High School and was employed for 30 years by Parrish Steel prior to retiring. Bill was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville and loved hunting, fishing, and wood working through out his life. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Adrian, Boyd, and Howard Hawk and a sister, Geraldine A. Ruzycke. Surviving are 3 nephews, Robert E. Madrigal, and his wife Debra, Schuylkill Haven; William Madrigal, and his companion Maryann, Pottsville; James Hawk and his wife, Pat, Middleport; and a niece Debra Hawk, Pottsville: Great-Nieces and Nephews. Services will be held Thursday at 10:30 A.M. at the James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville, with the Deacon John E. Quirk officiating. Family and friends may call from 9:30 A.M. until the time of services. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville.
