Frances M. Burns

Frances M. Burns, 84, of Pottsville died Sunday at Schuylkill Center. She was born September 30, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY daughter of the late Alfred and Frances Mauger Yannacone. She was a graduate of Pottsville High School and was an accountant for the former Burns TEXACO, Burns Auto Sales, and B & K Auto Wholesalers. Frances was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas F. Burns, Sr. on August 17, 2004: 3 sisters, Rose M. Curtier, Joanne Workman, and Katherine Engibritson. Surviving are: a Son, Thomas F. Burns, Jr. and his wife Sandy, Pottsville, 3 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Family and Friends may call from 10:00A.M.-11:00A.M. Wednesday at the James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville, followed by services at 12:30 P.M. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, with Deacon John E. Quirk officiating.
