Bruce Major

Bruce Major, 46, of Reading died Thursday, at his home. He was born April 6, 1965 in Pottsville son of the late James, Sr. and Estella Wiley Major. He graduated from Pottsville Area High School and attended West Chester University. He served in the Army Reserve and was a member of Wyomissing Church of the Brethren. Surviving are 2 daughters, Ericka and Mikaela: 3 sisters, Darlene Rupp, Leesport, Janet Moyer, Schuylkill Haven, and Linda Stephen, S. Cairo, New York: a brother, James, Jr., West Lawn: Nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. from the James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville with Pastor Tim Speicher officiating. Family and friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday evening at 7:00 P.M. from the Wyomissing Church of the Brethren, 2200 State Hill Rd., Wyomissing, PA 19610. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
