Edward T. Jenkins

Edward T. "Grump" Jenkins, 57 of Pottsville, died Saturday at home. He was born September 6, 1953 in Pottsville son of the late Patricia Landis Jenkins. Ed was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School and was a member of Goodwill Fire Co # 4, Pottsville, and a volunteer of the Island Park Project, Schuylkill Haven. Surviving are his sister Paulette, a brother, Barry, Sr., and his wife Michelle, and a fiancé Tina Klotz, all of Pottsville: an aunt and uncle, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Friday at 10:30 A.M. at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven with Pastor James R. Fidler officiating. Family and friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. Friday at the James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville. The family would prefer remembrances in form of contributions made to Island Park Project c/o Boro Hall, 12 W. Main St., Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972.
