John F. Beadle, III

John F. "Jack" Beadle, III, P.E., 59, of Pottsville, died Thursday at home. He was born September 29, 1951 in Pottsville, son of the late John F., Jr. and Alberta Cairns Beadle. He was a 1969 graduate of Pottsville Area High School, a 1973 graduate of Virginia Military Institute, and attended Lehigh University on a fellowship. Jack was an owner of and principal engineer at I&I Engineering Inc., Pottsville, for 21 years. He was a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers, Pennsylvania Engineers in Private Practice, Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers, Pennsylvania Anthracite Council and Pulaski Masonic Lodge 216 F&AM, Pottsville. He was also an avid fan of any type of auto racing, especially NASCAR, riding his motorcycle and enjoyed spending time with his many friends at Club 18. He was preceded in death by a niece, Andrea Norton. Surviving are his wife of 25 years the former Patricia A. Stock: 2 sons, Jonathan E. Beadle, and Elliot T. Beadle: a daughter Mara Jane Sausser and her husband Nathan, all of Pottsville: 2 sisters, Beverly Norton, and her husband William, Westford, MA and Donna Davis and her husband Gary, Horsham: aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Services will be held Monday at 8:00 P.M. from the James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville with the Rev. Darcy M. Reis officiating. Family and friends may call from 5:00 P.M. until the time of services Monday evening. The family would prefer remembrances in form of contributions made to Morgan Cancer Center, C/O Development Department for Lehigh Valley Hospital, P.O. Box 4000, Allentown PA, 18105-4000. Interment will be at the convenience of the family at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
