June A. Spiess, 57, of Pottsville, died Saturday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born in Miami FL, on March 19, 1954 daughter of the late Edward and Anna Salak Carey.
She was a graduate of St. Clair High School and was a secretary for the Pottsville Area School District working at the John S. Clarke Elementary School and D.H.H. Lengel Middle School.
June was a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, St. Clair.
Surviving are 3 sons, Matthew Spiess, Minersville; Jonathan Spiess and Robert Spiess, both of Auburn: 2 sisters, Mary Ellen Rosado, and Candice Parsons: 2 granddaughters, Isabella Helen Link Spiess and Kylie Stoffregen: a companion, Charles Zuratt.
Office of Requiem Divine Liturgy will be held Friday at 10:00 A.M. from St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, St. Clair with Msgr. Myron Grabowsky as celebrant. Family and friends may call Thursday evening from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services Friday at the church. The family would prefer remembrances in form of contribution made to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 105 N. Morris St., St. Clair PA, 179 Interment will be in St. Nicholas Ukrainian Cemetery, St. Clair.
James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville, is in charge of arrangements.
