Margaret M. Liddle, 91, of Pottsville, died Saturday evening at Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson St.
She was born December 19, 1919 in Philadelphia daughter of the late John D.A. and Edith Patterson Mann.
She was a graduate of Kutztown State Teachers College with a B.S. in Art Education and was a home maker most of her life.
Margaret was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Pottsville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin E. Liddle on July 7, 2010 with whom she had celebrated 65 years of marriage: 2 sisters, Helen Pappy and Edith Krier. Surviving are a son, John H. Liddle and his wife Kathleen, Pottsville: 2 daughters, Susan J. Matzuk and her husband, Greg, West Lawn and Beth E. Crivella, and her husband, Chuck, Muhlenberg Twp.: a brother, Joseph Mann, Gwynedd: 4 Grandchildren: Lt. Commander John Liddle, Mark Liddle, Amy O'Connor and Melissa Matzuk: 3 Great Grandchildren: Nora and Sara Liddle and Allison O'Connor: Nieces and Nephews.
Services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. from the United Presbyterian Church, 3rd and Mahantongo St., Pottsville, with Rev. Jeff Colarossi officiating. Family and friends may call at the church on Tuesday evening from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and Wednesday from 9:00 A.M until the time of service. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions made to the United Presbyterian Church, 214 Mahantongo St., Pottsville, PA 17901. Interment will be at Charles Baber Cemetery, Pottsville. James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville, is in charge of arrangements.
