Frances M. Reppy

Frances M. Reppy, 93, of Pottsville, died Thursday at Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson St. Pottsville.

She was born January 31, 1916 in Pottsville daughter of the late William A. Sr., and Anna C. Geiselhart Reppy.

She attended Norwegian Township Schools and was a forelady at the former Necho Mills, Pottsville.

She a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville where she sang with the senior choir and belonged to Circle 5. She was also a member of the Business and Professional Womens Club of Pottsville.

She was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Anna Wiederhold, Dorothy Robertson, and Rose Fetterman: 2 brothers, William A. Jr., and Robert Reppy. Surviving is a sister, Catherine E. "Kitty" Steidle, Auburn: Nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 A.M. from Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville, with the Rev. Darcy M. Reis officiating. Family and friends are invited to call at church from 10:00 A.M. till time of services. The family would prefer remembrances in form of contributions made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 300 W. Arch St. Pottsville, PA 17901. Interment will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Pottsville. James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville, is in charge of arrangements.
