Gary M. Caravan, 62, of Pottsville died Friday at Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson St, Pottsville. He was born May 19, 1947 in Pottsville son of the late Dominic and Helen Lipsky Caravan. He was most recently employed as heavy equipment operator for Yatesville Co-Generation. He was a former member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville. Surviving are his wife, Bernice Jordan Caravan, Pottsville: 2 daughters, Tammy Hoy and her husband Lester, Greaysville, TN and Christina Ashley, Reading: 2 sons, Christopher and Jeffery Caravan, both of Pottsville: 2 brothers, Edward, Sergeant Bluff, IA and Tom, Marlin: 2 sisters, Joanne O'Toole and her husband Michael, Pottsville and Doris Leymeister and her husband Harvey, Marlin: 5 Grandchildren.
