Carma Honeycutt Sturgill, 82, of Pottsville, formerly of Harold, Kentucky died Monday night at Broad Mountain Nursing home, Frackville. She was born November 6, 1926 in Big Schols, Kentucky daughter of the late Spurgeon C. And Gladys Wells Honeycutt and was a graduate of Auxier High School, Auxier, Kentucky. She was a member of the Kentucky Homemakers Association. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman E. Sturgill in April of 2000, a brother, Vernon Honeycutt and a sister, Bernice Mason. Surviving are a daughter, Rose A. Steidle and her husband, Bruce, Pottsville, a brother Franklin Honeycutt, Prestonsburg, Kentucky, 1 granddaughter, 3 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Odd Fellows Cemetery, St. Clair. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions made to: Alzheimer Association, 57 N. Franklin St., Wilkes Barre, PA 18701. James E.
