Susanna M. Smith

Susanna M. Smith, 62, of Pottsville died Saturday at Schuylkill Medical Center East Norwegian St., Pottsville. She was born November 13, 1946 in Pottsville daughter of the late William J. and Isabel Davis McLaughlin. She attended Pottsville Schools and was employed by M & Q Packaging, Schuylkill Haven, for 16 years prior to retiring. Surviving is a daughter, Tammy Landers and her companion, Robert Wentz, Forestville, a son, Robert Smith and his wife, Tracy, Hamburg: 2 sisters, Elizabeth Ann Sullivan and her husband, James L., Bear, Delaware and Helen Burns and her husband, Joseph R., Pottsville. A brother, William J. McLaughlin and his wife, Karen, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma: 5 grandchildren, Justin Landers, Kaylei Wentz, Robert, Nicholas, and Amanda Smith: nieces and nephews: great nephews. Services will be held at noon Friday from the James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville, with Pastor James Fidler officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and on Friday from 11:00 A.M. till the time of service. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Jim Thorpe.
