Ann T. Kilmurray, R.N.

  Ann T. Kilmurray, R.N. 91 of Mechanicsville, died Sunday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown.

  She was born December 12, 1926 in Pottsville the daughter of the late George B. Sr., and Mary E. Toomey Roth.

  She was a 1944 graduate of Pottsville Catholic High School and a 1947 graduate of Pottsville Hospital School of Nursing.

  She was employed as a Nurse at the former Pottsville Hospital and Warne Clinic in various departments prior to retiring.

  Ann was a member of St. Stephens Roman Catholic Church, Port Carbon and Pottsville Hospital Nursing Alumni Association.

  She was preceded in death by her husband John A. Kilmurray, Sr. July 24, 2011; a son, Brian David Kilmurray; a daughter, Susan Marie Kilmurray; 7 brothers, Leroy, Joseph, William, Francis, Edmond, Sr. Bernard Roth and George B. Roth, Jr.: Surviving are her son, John A. Kilmurray, Jr, Vacaville, CA; 2 grandchildren, Erin Lull and Kevin Kilmurray; a great-granddaughter, Vanessa Lull; all of CA; nieces and nephews.

  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11AM from St. Stephens Roman Catholic Church, Port Carbon, with Rev. Ronald J. Minner as celebrant. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 9-10:15AM Friday at James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contribution made to St. Stephen Memorial Fund, 218 Valley St. Port Carbon PA, 17965. Interment will be in Queen of the Universe Cemetery, Pottsville.
