Anthony G. Beenick, 56, of West Arch Street, Pottsville, died peacefully at his home March 1, 2022. Tony was born March 22, 1965 at the Pottsville Hospital and spent his childhood in New Philadelphia, Lavelle, and Locustdale. Tony, a 1983 graduate of North Schuylkill School District, joined the US Army, completing basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, and served his entire enlistment in Alaska as a Supply Specialist. Tony was eager and opportunistic, pursing various career professions throughout Pennsylvania, New York, and Delaware before settling in Pottsville. Tony was a colorful character, loved life, believed God's Hand touched everything, and had an exuberant personality. He loved and cared for his family, friends, neighbors and acquaintances exceedingly. His memory will always be lovingly embedded in our hearts and his zest for life will continue to bide through his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Helen Beenick; father Tony Marx, and childhood guardian Mary Ann Sisko. He is survived by his son Anthony T Beenick; the love of his life June Ayello; brothers, Lawrence Beenick, Robert Sisko, Shawn Tray; sisters, Barbara Doyle, Johann Waizenegger; best friend Randy Micklo; many cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial and celebration of his life is being planned. Arrangements are under the care of James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville.
