Earl D. Kong

Earl D. Kong, 73 of Pottsville, died Monday, June 5th at home. He was born December 11, 1949 in Honolulu, HI a son of the late Tillie Kong He was a graduate of Roosevelt High School, Honolulu HI. He was an Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam War Prior to retiring he worked for Z&M Painting. He was preceded in death by his caregiver Mara Beadle Sausser. Surviving are cousins and many friends. Graveside Military Honors will be held Friday, July 7th at 1PM at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. A visitation will be held from 9:30AM-10:30AM at James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville. Procession will depart for cemetery following visitation. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions in memory of Earl be made to PA Wounded Warriors, 1117 Country Club Rd, Camp Hill, PA 17011 or James E.
