Georgia Mazzuca

Georgia Mazzuca, 72 of Pottsville, died peacefully Tuesday at home. 

She was born September 29, 1950 in New York, NY, a daughter of the late Andrew and Jean Palmour Micklo.

She was a 1969 graduate of Pottsville Area High School.

Georgia was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville.

She was preceded in death by Michael Mazzuca; her brothers, Barry, Gregory, and Larry Micklo; a sister, Andrea Gayeski; 

Surviving are a son, Marcus Mazzuca, Pottsville; a daughter, Gina Mazzuca and her husband, David New, Mechanicsburg; 2 grandsons Don and George New; nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service of Remembrance will be held Friday at 11AM from St. John No. 2 Cemetery, Pottsville, with Deacon John E. Quirk officiating. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions in memory of Georgia be made to the Pennsylvania Rivers Chapter of the American Red Cross, 3939 Broadway, Allentown, PA 18104. Arrangements are under the care of James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville.
