Katharine C. Daley

Katharine C. Daley, 81 of Pottsville, died Thursday, at Pottsville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. 

She was born November 6, 1942, daughter of the late John F. and Margaret McGurl Carlin.

She was a graduate of Pottsville High School and attended Penn State University.

Kathie was owner of the former K&D Associates, Pottsville.

She was of Catholic faith.

Kathie was a member and past president of the Pottsville Kiwanis Club, the American Red Cross and many other organizations.

She was preceded in death by her husband William in 1994, a sister Margaret Sabatini.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Ellen Radziewicz and her husband Lenny, Pottsville; Tina Butz and her husband Kevin, Pottsville; 3 grandchildren, John, Jeff and Rachelle; 5 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.

Service of Remembrance will be held Wednesday at 11am from the James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 9:30AM until the time of services. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions in memory of Kathie be made to Hillside SPCA PO Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901.
