Kathleen T. Kline, 93, formerly of Pottsville, died Sunday at Providence Place Senior Living, Lancaster, PA.
She was born June 13, 1931 in Allentown, a daughter of the late Charles and Catherine Ferenchak Haas.
She was a 1949 graduate of Allentown High School.
Prior to retiring, she worked as a secretary at the Howard S. Fernsler Academic Center and the D.H.H. Lengel Middle School, Pottsville.
Kathleen was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville, and the Coal Crackin Red Hats.
She was preceded in death by her husband and high school sweetheart, Kenneth H. Kline, Sr., on Aug 27, 2022; sisters, Mary Ann Kurtz, Emma Alich, Bernadine Derkits and Eleanor Scheirer; daughter-in-law, Wendy (Andrews) Kline.
Surviving are 4 sons, Kenneth H. Kline, Jr. and his wife Lori, Bethlehem; Todd R. Kline and his wife Kathleen, Easton; Dennis R. Kline and his wife Lori, Bel Air, MD; Scott C. Kline and his wife Carol, Landisville; a daughter, Melanie Schaeffer and her husband James, Lititz; 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held 11am Saturday at James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 9am until the time of services. Interment will follow in St. John No. 2 Cemetery, Pottsville. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions in memory of Kathleen be made to Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600 Doylestown, PA 18901
