Marie F. Johnson

Marie F. Moran Johnson, 82, of Pottsville died Friday, March 29, peacefully at home.  A daughter of the late Francis and Mary A. (McDonald) Moran, she was a graduate of Nativity B.V.M. high school and Penn State University.

Marie was a librarian of the Minersville Area High School, retiring in 2002.  She directed numerous high school plays during her tenure at Minersville Area, which brought her much pleasure and touched the hearts and minds of many students through the years.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Patricia Sincavage, and her grandchildren Fallon and Eddie, Jr. She is survived by a grandson Christopher Sincavage (Amanda), great granddaughters Adelia and Rowan Sincavage, a great grandson, Dominic Borrelli, her cousin who was raised as her sister, Catherine Kimmel, and two nephews Patrick and Michael Maley

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville.
