Mildred D. Harig, 75 of Pottsville, died Tuesday at Green Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Pottsville.
She was born March 22, 1949, in Pottsville a daughter of the late Henry and Elosie Kishbaugh Bigg.
She was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School.
Prior to retiring she was employed by Argo Knitting Mill and the former Pottsville Hospital and Warne Clinic.
Mildred was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Pottsville and a life member of West End Hose Fire Co., Pottsville.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, William and Henry Bigg: a sister, Geraldine Salen.
Surviving are 3 sons, Karl L Harig, II, Pottsville; Brian Harig, Pottsville; Henry J. Harig, Bethlehem; a daughter, Beth Richter, Lititz; 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, a sister, Thelma MacCready, Pottsville; a brother, Richard Bigg, Mechanicsburg; nieces and nephews
Graveside memorial service and interment will be held 10AM Saturday, June 1st at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. Arrangements are under the care of James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville.
