He was born in Pottsville a son of the late Karl A. Sr., and Ada Mars Zeller. He attended Pottsville Schools. Richard was a owner of Zeller's Plumbing and Heating, and co-owner of Zellers Market and Treat Shop. Richard was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville and Walter Griffiths AMVETS Post 180, Pottsville, and was an assistant scout master. He was preceded in death by a brother, Karl A. Zeller, Jr., a sister, Dolores Frantz and a nephew, Christopher Frantz. Surviving are his wife of 51 years of marriage Darlene Kemfort Zeller, Ellenton, FL; a sister, Karlene Myro, Huston TX; nieces and nephews. Service of Remembrance will be held Tuesday at 7:30PM from Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville, with Rev. Chris Rothharpt officiating. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 6:30PM until the time of services at the church. Masks are required. The family would pefer remembrances in the form of contributions in memory of Richard be made to Trinity Lutheran Church 300 W. Arch St. Pottsville, PA 17901 or Hillside SPCA PO Box 233 Pottsville, PA 17901. Interment with military honors will be held 11AM Thursday at Indiantown National Cemetery, Annville. A funeral procession to the cemetery will gather at James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville, from 9-9:30AM Thursday, May 6th.
