Robert J. "Bobby" Brennan

  Robert J. “Bobby” Brennan, Sr. 62, of Pottsville died Wednesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown.

  He was born September 11, 1955 a son of the late William and Kathryn Yourey Brennan.

  He was a 1973 graduate of Nativity BVM High School Pottsville.

  Prior to retiring Bobby was employed by Pespi Co until 1989, and later the Greater Pottsville Sewer Authority until 2017. He was also a funeral attendant for 31 years at the James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville.

  Bobby was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville, where he served as lector; Ancient Order of Hibernians JFK Division #2,a social member of West End Hose Co. Pottsville and a life long member of Good Intent Fire Co. Pottsville, where he was past chief engineer.

  Surviving are his wife of 43 years Kathleen “Kathy” Conway Brennan, Pottsville; 2 daughters, Erin Wintrup and her husband Bill, Bear, Del; Megan Brennan, Pottsville; Robert J. “Bobby” Brennan, Jr., and his wife Jessica, Pottsville; 5 grandchildren, Logan, Ava, and Mckenna Wintrup and Ryland and Callen Brennan; 2 cousins, Kathy Maxwell, and Joe Weschules; nieces and nephews.

  Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11:30AM. from St. Patrick Roman Church, Pottsville. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 9-11:30A.M. at the church. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions made to St. Patrick Memorial Fund, 319 Mahantongo St., Pottsville PA, 17901 or Good Intent Fire Co, 7 N. 2^nd St. Pottsville PA, 17901. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville. Arrangements are under the care of James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville.
