Robert W. Mills

Robert W. Mills, 93 of Pottsville, died Friday June 25, at Luther Ridge, Pottsville. He was born November 27, 1928 in Pottsville a son of the late Warren W. Sr., and Sarah Thomas Mills He was a graduate of Pottsville High School. He was a Navy veteran having served during the Korean War. Bob was a employed by AAA, Pottsville, prior to retiring. He was member of 1st United Methodist Church, Pottsville, Yorkville Hose Fire Co., and Walter Griffiths AMVETS Post 180 He was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Edith Hartstein, Evelyn Bruen, Rebecca Lecher; 5 brothers, Warren W. Mills, Sr., John S. Mills, Walter J. Mills, Joseph Mills, and David Mills. Surviving are a brother, William Mills, Girardville; 2 sisters, Laura Croll, Pottsville; Shirley Scheibelhut, Pottsville; nieces and nephews. Graveside with Military Honors will be held at the convenience of family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Arrangements are under the care of James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville.
