Theresa M. Tuite

Theresa M. Tuite, 73 of Pottsville, died Wednesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill, East Norwegian St.

She was born December 27, 1949 in Pottsville a daughter of the late Basilio A. and Anges I. Benedict DeMartino.

She was a 1968 Graduate of Pottsville Area High School.

She worked at Brok-Sel, Pottsville, prior to retiring.

Theresa was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph H. Tuite, on July 25, 2016; 2 brothers, James “Irish” Benedict and Joseph DeMartino; 2 sisters, Josephine Hillman and Rosemarie Nesbitt.

Surviving are a sister, Mary Martin, New Hampshire; nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at 1PM Thursday May 4^th, at St. Bertha Cemetery, Tuscarora. The family would prefer remembrances in memory of Theresa be made to St. John Memorial Fund, 913 Mahantongo St. Pottsville, PA 17901 or National Kidney Association, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016. Arrangements are under the care of James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville.
